Microsoft Outlook: "search" function not working

Try the following to resolve the issue: -  Open Control Panel, find Indexing Options, click Modify, locate Microsoft Outlook in the list and uncheck the box.  -  Close Outlook & wait 1 minute. -    Open Task Manage
